Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to Greene County, TN, circa 1860-1890, ovoid pitcher with tooling at base collar, and narrow flaring collar. Exhibited: Tennessee Turned, Earthenware and Stoneware Made in East Tennessee 1800-1900, Museum of East Tennessee History, May 16-October 30, 2011. A faint surface line around much of base, not visible on interior. A minor base chip. A minor spout chip, minor rim nick, and wear to rim. H 10 1/4".
