Glazed Redware Jar, TN origin, circa 1840-1880, ovoid jar with footed base, tall collar with semi-rounded rim, and ribbed lug handles, the lead-glazed surface orange and speckled red coloration, possibly tinted with iron. Old patched hole in underside. One handle with shallow chipping and light wear. Opposing handle with light wear. Base and rim chips. Minor surface wear and minor in-the-firing surface flaws. H 9 1/4".
