One-and-a-Half-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar with Incised Decoration, probably AL origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jar with tall collar, flattened rim, elaborately-decorated around the upper half with horizontal, wavy, and combed incising. Surface covered in a pale gray-green alkaline glaze. Incised "1 1/2" on shoulder. Missing handle. Rim chips. A 7/8" in-the-firing flake to one side. H 11".
