Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "CJB," Columbus Jackson Becham, Crawford County, GA, late 19th or early 20th century, squat-shaped, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and spout, the surface covered in an olive-brown alkaline glaze. Handle impressed with Columbus Jackson Becham maker's mark. A few spout chips. Some glaze omission on surface, as-made. An approximately 2 1/2" vertical line at base on reverse extending onto underside, where it forms an approximately 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" T. H 10 3/4".
