Rare Glazed Stoneware Presentation Pitcher, Inscribed "F.D.H.," attributed to the Decker Pottery, Washington County, TN, circa 1872-1910, ovoid pitcher with flaring, footed base, incised straight and wavy line treatment to collar, semi-rounded rim, and heavily-ribbed handle. Incised at midsection with the initials, "F.D.H." Surface coated in a brown slip with overlying salt glaze. Exhibited: Tennessee Turned, Earthenware and Stoneware Made in East Tennessee 1800-1900, Part One, Museum of East Tennessee History, May 16-October 30, 2011.
