Three Pieces of Salt-Glazed Stoneware, Middle TN origin, late 19th or early 20th century, two ovoid jugs with reddish-slip coating and overlying salt glaze, together with a squat-shaped pitcher with partially-dipped reddish-brown slip and overlying salt glaze. Smaller jug with large incised X across underside. Jugs in excellent, essentially as-made condition, with large with an in-the-firing contact mark to one side. Pitcher with a 3/4" rim chip. H (of pitcher) 5".
