Rare Horse Medicine Advertising Jug, American, early 20th century, brown-and-white shoulder jug featuring the blue advertising, "KRONKINE / DR. CLARIS / BUFFALO, N.Y." Claris, a veterinarian, invented Kronkine, a popular 19th century horse medicine designed as a fever reducer, heart stimulator, and nourishment for sick horses. A shallow in-the-firing flake and line to shoulder as well as a few small chips to edge of shoulder and some staining and residue to surface. H 12".
