Rare Small-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably Washington County, VA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar and pronounced, tooled rim molding, brush-decorated on the body with a double-stemmed flowering plant bearing six blossoms and on the collar with a flower flanking each side of the spout. Desirable form, size, and decoration. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 7 7/8".
