Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa.," late 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled rim, composed of unusual scroddled olive and orange clay with clear lead-glazed surface. Faint John W. Bell maker's mark below rim. Excellent condition with a minuscule rim nick. H 4 7/8".
