One-Gallon Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Jug with Charleston, WV Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1880, semi-ovoid jug with tooled spout, featuring the stenciled advertising, "BEN BAER. / WHOLESALE / LIQUOR DEALER. / CHARLESTON. W.VA." Essentially as-made condition with a glazed-over 7/8" x 5/8" spout chip and a salt drip to handle. H 10".
