Scarce Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Jackson Courthouse, WV Advertising, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, tapering form with semi-squared "wax sealer" rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "T.E. GRAHAM. / DEALER / IN / GENERAL MERCHANDISE / JACKSON C.H.W.VA.," including stylized floral stenciling at base. Very nice condition, the interior of the rim with two small in-the-making flakes and a few minuscule nicks. H 8 3/8".
