Extremely Rare Deed Conveying Pottersville Stoneware Manufactory Land from Abner Landrum to Jasper Gibbs, Dated 1840, featuring signatures by Abner Landrum and Jasper Gibbs, this deed discusses land sold by Landrum to Gibbs for twenty dollars, including the "J.W. Gibbs & Co. stone ware manufacturing lott(sic)." A significant document pertaining to one of America's most important potteries, one distinguished as producing the first alkaline-glazed stoneware in America and the site where David Drake learned to pot.
