Swirl-Glazed Pottery Vase, Signed and Dated "CBM / 1931," C.B. Masten at the Auman Pottery, Seagrove, NC, 1931, ovoid vase with slightly-flared rim, decorated with marbled green, light blue, and cream-colored slip against a brown ground with overlying clear glaze. Interior coated in a light blue slip under a clear glaze. Underside incised "Pl 2 R / CBM / 1931." Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5 3/4".
