Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Lidded Stein, attributed to the White's Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, narrow-bodied, cylindrical stein with relief design of figures around a table including hand-incised detail work, coated in Bristol slip and highlighted in cobalt. Scalloped carving and notches on interior of base indicate this stein was made to be attached to a music box. Includes original pewter lid. Excellent condition. H (including lid) 15".
