Molded Stoneware Umbrella Stand with Alligator Motif, attributed to the White's Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, cylindrical form with relief decoration of an alligator with cattails, butterflies, and dragonflies. Surface decorated with elaborate brushed-cobalt highlights and covered in a clear salt glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 20 1/8".
