Fine Glazed Redware Dish with Incised Double Bird Decoration and 1924 Date, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, 1924, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with two incised bird-on-branch motifs and the date "1924." Surface decorated with sponged copper and manganese under a clear lead glaze. Provenance: Descended in the Medinger family to its current owner. Rim with three small chips and an iron ping. Diam. 7 7/8".
