Glazed Redware Jug, PA origin, second or third quarter 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with footed base, semi-rounded spout, and grooved handle, decorated with spattered manganese against a mottled orange-to-olive, lead-glazed ground. Handle with a small Y-shaped line descending from lower handle terminal, a few minor nicks near edge, a small in-the-firing ping near midsection, and a small in-the-firing fissure near upper handle terminal. Light glaze wear to spout. Some scratches to upper body of jug. A few minor in-the-firing surface pings to jug. H 11".
