Manganese-Decorated Redware Jar, probably Adams County, PA origin, second half 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base, thin rim, and incised straight and wavy line treatment to shoulder, the surface decorated with splashed manganese and covered in a heavy lead glaze. Excellent condition with two short, glazed-over lines from rim, minor surface wear, and some clay residue to underside. H 7".
