One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "EVAN R. JONES' / PITTSTON PA.," circa 1875, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied lug handles, brush-decorated with a large tulip extending across the front. Interior of rim with a 1" flake and wear. A chip to proper left handle and two chips to proper right handle. A flake to shoulder on front. Some fry to cobalt. Two base chips. H 9".
