Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG. PA," circa 1865, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with triple-blossomed tulip plant. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark, capacity mark, and handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 15 1/2".
