Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BROWN BROTHER , / HUNTINGTON, / L.I.," NY State origin, circa 1870-1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, brush-decorated with three flowers conjoined at the stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Excellent condition with some in-the-firing pings to surface and a minor spot of staining to reverse. H 9".
