Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, American, fourth quarter 19th century, a coggle-decorated spittoon, attributed to Wingender, Haddonfield, NJ or Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1890; a one-gallon jar with swag decoration, stamped "S. BELL & SON. / STRASBURG," VA origin, circa 1890; and a three-gallon cylindrical jug with freehand decoration and number "3" applied over slip, Western PA origin, circa 1880. Spittoon with two base chips and in-the-firing glazed flaws. Jar with a faint Y-shaped line to underside, rim chips, and a 3" line from rim. Jug in excellent condition with small base chips. Dimensions (of spittoon): Diam. 7 1/2" x H 4 1/4" ; H (of jug) 17".
