Four Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, New England origin, circa 1875, all of cylindrical form with stylized foliate or floral motifs, a two-gallon churn, stamped "F T WRIGHT & SON / TAUNTON MASS;" a two-gallon jug, stamped "SEYMOUR & BOSWORTH / HARTFORD CONN;" a two-gallon jug, stamped "A.B. WHEELER & Co. / BOSTON, Mass,;" and a three-gallon jug, stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS." Churn with fry to cobalt, chips to inner rim for lid, and a 4 1/2" vertical line at base on reverse. Churn lid in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Hartford jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition with an in-the-firing ping near base on reverse. Wheeler jug with reglued handle, two surface flakes, and light surface wear. Norton jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition with in-the-firing lines to upper handle terminal and staining to surface. H (of tallest) 16".
