Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with swags surrounding the body, on the collar, and flanking the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A small in-the-firing chip to front of spout. A 5/8" flake to interior of spout. A thin crack through handle. Salt drips and some light in-the-firing residue to surface. H 8 3/4".
