Unusual Miniature Stoneware Jug, Incised "John Berger / Boartown(?) / Pa," 19th century, ovoid jug with rounded spout, applied handle, and salt-glazed surface, the underside incised in script, "John Berger / Boartown(?) / Pa." The incised location may refer to Boartown, which was a section of Nanticoke in Luzerne County, PA, or possibly Beartown, located in Lancaster County, PA. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
