Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, American, circa 1840, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with a wide swirled trail of yellow slip. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from an eighty-year private collection. Wear and a few shallow rim chips. Some minor flakes to interior. Diameter 9 1/2".
