One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "H.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK, PA", circa 1875, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a large brushed tulip motif. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. A 3 3/4" X-shaped surface line to right side of jar near base. Some minor in-the-firing chipping to bottom edge. Maker's mark is not fully impressed.
