Shenandoah Valley Redware Flowerpot with Copper Swag Decoration, Stamped "S. BELL & SON / STRASBURG", Virginia origin, circa 1890, ovoid pot with attached saucer, the surface dipped in a whitish slip and decorated with green copper-glazed swags. Impressed with S. Bell & Son maker's mark at shoulder. Loss to base. Other base chips. Two cracks from rim. Traces of old red and green paint. H 6 3/4".
