Two-Gallon New York City Stoneware Advertising Jug, New York City or State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, featuring the large slip-trailed cobalt advertising "Max Stiner & Co. / 36 Vesey St. / New York". Heavy cobalt highlight below spout. Includes antique wooden stopper. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some small spots of fry to cobalt.
