Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, the surface covered in dark-brown lead-and-manganese glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark at shoulder. Very nice condition with some flecks of glaze loss to rim. H 4 1/2".
