Scarce Redware Jar, Stamped "D.M. BAKERS POTTERY / WAYNESBORO. PA", circa 1875, bowl-shaped jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, the interior covered in a lead and manganese glaze. Small chips and wear to rim. Tight spider crack on underside, extending onto base. Area of exfoliation to base. H 7".
