Unusual Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Floral Decoration, Stamped "H.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK, PA", circa 1870-89, approximately three-quart jar of ovoid form with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed tulip emanating from a leafy stem. Excellent color and size. Provenance: Deaccessioned from the Pfaltzgraff Pottery Archives, York, PA. Excellent condition; two small chips on interior of rim. H 7".
