Scarce ANHEUSER-BUSCH Stoneware Syrup Dispenser, Marked on Underside "PATENTED / DECEMBER 5th 1919 / CORDLEY & HAYES / NEW YORK", New York, New York origin, circa 1919, Bristol-slip-glazed cooler with flared base, decorated on the front and reverse with the Anheuser-Busch beer logo, depicting a spread-winged eagle with Federal shield, surrounded by the letter "A". Inscribed twice in red "ANHEUSER-BUSCH / 5 c / ST. LOUIS, MO. / U.S.A.". A fine example of early 20th century American breweriana. Excellent overall condition. H 9 7/8".
