Large-Sized Tanware Pitcher, Western PA origin, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with semi-rounded rim and tooling at base of collar, decorated in Albany slip with a sweeping fuchsia vine design, foliate brushwork and dashes along the collar, and stripes along the collar and base. Albany slip highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Excellent condition with minor wear. H 9 1/2".
