Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1830-1875, a quart-sized cylindrical jar with cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "R.C.R. / PHILA.", Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA; an ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with cobalt daubs around the shoulder, attributed to Branch Green, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1825; and a two-gallon cylindrical jug with cobalt floral decoration and freehand number 2. Remmey jar with a 1 1/2" hairline from rim, a few short faint surface lines at base, and a minor chip and nick to underside. Branch Green jar with a 1 3/4" chip to underside at edge along with other smaller base chips. Jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a glazed-over iron ping to right of decoration. H (of Remmey jar) 7 1/2".
