Two Pieces of Early Northeastern U.S. Stoneware, circa 1810-1825, a four-gallon open-handled jar with cobalt drape decoration, attributed to Clarkson Crolius, Sr., Manhattan, NY, paired with a one-gallon ovoid jug with cobalt highlights to the handle terminals and the maker's mark, "D. GOODALE / HARTFORD", CT origin. Jar with one restored handle, restoration extending from rim to shoulder on one side, a large in-the-firing contact mark to one side, and a few small base chips. Jug with an in-the-firing 7/8" chip to handle and shallow base chips.
