Blue-Glazed Stoneware Figure of a Rooster with Snake, Signed and Dated "Edwin Meaders / 12-16-1989," Cleveland, GA origin, 1989, wheel-thrown and hand-modeled figure of a rooster with impressed eyes and saw-toothed details to comb and tail, including a hand-modeled snake coiled around the figure's neck. Surface covered in a blue glaze with green stripes and accents to the snake. Underside with incised "Edwin Meaders" signature and date. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 16".
