One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "NICHOLS & BOYNTON / BURLINGTON VT," circa 1856-1859, cylindrical jug with squared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt floral design with fan-shaped blossom and dotted accents. A small stone ping to spout, shoulder, and base on reverse. Some staining around base. Fry to cobalt. Small base chip on reverse. H 12 1/2".
