Blue-and-Green-Glazed Stoneware Figure of a Rooster, Signed and Dated "Edwin Meaders / 9-11-1999," Cleveland, GA origin, 1999, wheel-thrown and hand-modeled figure of a rooster with impressed eyes and saw-toothed details to comb and tail, the surface covered in a lesser-seen blue and green glaze. Underside with incised "Edwin Meaders" signature and date. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 15 1/2".
