Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, probably Palatine, WV origin, circa 1880, squat-shaped, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, decorated with three freehand stripes. Small chips to inner wax sealer rim and a minor chip to interior of rim. Minor traces of old red paint to top of rim. H 7".
