Rare Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Chicken Waterer, Stenciled "DONAGHHO CO / PARKERSBURG W.V.," late 19th century, ovoid beehive form with nob-shaped finial and attached saucer for watering, featuring Donaghho Company maker's stenciling, with unusual backwards "E" in town name, in white slip over an Albany slip ground. This is the only example of a Donaghho chicken waterer we have handled. Significant loss to finial. Other minor imperfections including surface wear, bubbling to stencil, and chipping to underside. H 10 3/4".
