Celadon-Glazed Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and short, flaring rim, the surface covered in streaky grayish glaze. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark at shoulder. A 5/8" chip to interior of rim. Inner rim for lid with minor glaze-over chip and two minuscule nicks. H 8".
