Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Cobalt Shield Motif, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / SUCCESSOR TO / JAS. HAMILTON / & CO. / GREENSBORO PA.," circa 1880, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, featuring desirable T.F. Reppert "SUCCESSOR TO" maker's stenciling incorporating a central shield motif. Very nice condition with some light surface wear. Rim is slightly out-of-round. H 8 1/4".
