Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn, Stenciled "A.P. DONAGHHO / PARKERSBURG. W.V.", circa 1880, cylindrical churn with flared collar and ribbed lug handles, featuring Alexander P. Donaghho maker's stenciling above a stenciled "4" within a stenciled circular border flanked by daisies. Some wear to surface. Chipping to molding at base of collar on reverse. Wear to inner rim for lid. Hairlines to underside, one of which extends 3 1/2" up base on side of churn.
