Slip-Decorated Redware Bowl, Mid-Atlantic origin, early 19th century, tapered bowl with semi-rounded rim molding, decorated on the interior with wavy and straight line designs in slip-trailed manganese and covered in a heavy lead glaze. Provenance: Sotheby's, New York. Professional restoration to interior and rim. A 3 1/4" hairline from rim. Some flakes to exterior surface. H 4 1/4" ; Diameter 14".
