One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with squared rim and ribbed lug handles, decorated with a brushed swag and hanging flower design on the front and reverse. Additional dashed cobalt brushwork under each handle. Excellent condition with a small rim chip.
