Six-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "RICHEY & HAMILTON/ PALATINE. / W. VA.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with four freehand stripes, stenciled tulips, and a central stenciled 6 with flourishes. Reglued 3" section to interior of rim, with tight crack extending 10" down from it on front.
