Four-Gallon Lidded Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Cobalt Grapes Decoration, Stamped "F.T. WRIGHT & SON / STONE WARE / TAUNTON MASS," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a stenciled grapes design. Includes original lid, stamped "4". Crazing extending up from base. Handle chip. 1 1/2" base chip. One chip and a few minor nicks to rim. A chip and wear to inner ledge where a lid would rest. Chips to lid. H (including lid) 15 3/4".
