Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BALLARD & BROTHERS / BURLINGTON. VT," third quarter 19th century, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and semi-squared spout, decorated with an artistically slip-trailed design of three flowers extending from a leafy stem. Three small spout chips. Faint spider line extending from a small stone ping in the shoulder. A few small base chips. Minor 1 1/2" line at base.
