Very Rare Glazed Redware Pan, Stamped "L. KOPP," Lineboro, MD, circa 1875, tapered pan with squared rim and applied lug handles with depressed terminals. Exterior and interior decorated with heavy manganese sponging and overlying clear lead glaze. Underside impressed "L. KOPP". Leonard Kopp's redware, made at his pottery in Carroll County, MD, is typically found simply-glazed over unglazed. This pan is one of the better examples of his work we have seen. Rim chips. Wear to rim and handles. Some wear to interior. H 3 1/2" ; Diameter 9 1/8".
